Abstract: This study, examines the relation between Russians and Chinese in terms of the historical background that allows to see the nature of progress in time. After solving the border issue, the relations between two parties has improved faster. The improvement, shaped by the existing political environment, made possible for both of them to make huge progress in time. By improving, bilateral relations caused to the institutionalization of The Shanghai Cooperation Organization in time. Herewith the relations between them were taken a step forward into the international area and they extended their relations into an alliance. During this process, it has been remarkable to see them working jointly in areas like military, economy and energy. In this study; the areas like military, economy and energy shaping the relations between them are discussed
