The book named "Kaçıklık Diploması" has been written by Ayşe Nil Tahralı who graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences of Ankara University. The author has included in his book the story of his illness. The book is autobiographical. Ayşe Nil, which we talked about in her life, got sick in July of 1983. The doctors gave her a diagnosis of bipolar disorder. The author focuses on the illness in her work and causes leading her to illness. Ayşe Nil thinks she is a member of the an organization named "En Gerçek Atatürkçü" she created completely in her mind. She thinks that it communicated herself through newspapers, radio and television. Against the "En Gerçek Atatürkçü", there are other organizations that are enemies of Atatürk who have infiltrated everywhere, including the upper echelons of the state. There is a terrible war between the Atatürkist and their opponents. It is examined the author's disease, its description and reasons in detail. Bipolar diorder is a serious brain disease that can cause problems in social and professional life. This article provides useful information for readers and researchers who want to follow the disease through a literary text.
