Protection and Sustainability Proposal for Fountains and Water Wells in Troy Historical National Park Settlements

Abstract: In the context of the studies those carried in the settlements of The Historical National Park of Troia, many instances of fountains and water wells those contribute to the cultural identities of these settlements are determined. It is predicted that, a scientific analyze of these fountains and water wells submit important information about the historical and spatial develepoment of the settlements in the national park. The first chapter of this study includes general information about the settlements of the national park, architectural and usage details of these fountains and water wells located in these settlements. In the last chapter of this study named as conclusions; conservation problems, suggestions for conservation and sustainibility of these fountains and water wells are determined.
