Abstract: Since its establishment, the European Union has been aiming to progress with a growing structure by competing with other countries. The unity comes together with various institutions and the principles are based on regular and common policies. Qualitative research method was used as the method in the research. EU projects with content analysis from qualitative research methods are discussed. These projects have provided funding assistance to Turkey in the direction of sustainable development achieved under the heading of the budget period and investigation was conducted. European Union given to projects which provide the various funds in order to ensure sustainable development in Turkey, where projects are divided into six groups according to the area as it relates to sustainable development. Regional and urban development projects, employment and social inclusion projects, agricultural and rural development projects, research and innovation projects, humanitarian projects, and finally maritime and fishery projects are grouped.
