Abstract:
In this study, the concept of intellectualism, the evolution of the concept through historical processes, the differences between intellectual and enlightened, the concept of intellectual leadership and the characteristics of intellectual leadership have been examined. First of all, the emergence of the concept of the intellectual was examined and then its transformation throughout historical processes was dealt with. After examining the concept of the intellectual, the concept of intellectual leadership was scrutinized from different angles by examining the historical process of intellectualness in order to bring a critical approach to the definition of intellectual leadership. While examining the necessary characteristics for intellectual leadership, we tried to provide a new perspective from the intellectual perspective.
