Abstract: Play is one of the fun activities of children. There are play activities in every area and time where the child is present. The game contributes to the fields such as the education and learning of the child, developing his imagination, creativity, evaluating and understanding his knowledge and skills. Play and game types play an important role in the development of the child. It not only improves the child's psychological, physiological, motor and skills, but also has a great impact on his behavior. The aim of this compilation study is to investigate the effects of the types of games played from the early childhood on the personality development and behavior patterns of the child. In this context, it has been determined that play types socialize the child, develop prosocial behaviors, increase empathy skills, and improve self-confidence and self-understanding abilities.
