Abstract: In the globalizing and digitalizing world, the power of the new media and its existence for the society are becoming more common day by day. Because with the development of mass media, most of the society provides access on this ground. Politics, which has existed since the existence of human beings as a community, is also directly affected by this high media interaction. This study will be very important in terms of revealing the interaction of two elements that have a great place in the life of humanity. Because in this context, it will attribute an academic value to show how important the new media has become in political discourse. The aim of this study is to reveal the power of ideas in politics and the relationship between this power and the media.
