Abstract:
Solar energy systems have an important place in renewable energy systems. In Turkey, which has a sunny weather most of the year, many companies invest in solar energy systems both for reducing energy costs and for a sustainable world. The decision invest in these systems often requires consideration of many criteria. This study includes the evaluation of alternative solar energy system investments in a company. In the study, first the decision criteria were determined and then the company's current energy system and two different solar energy system investments were compared with the Fuzzy TOPSIS method. The findings obtained in this application have revealed that solar energy system investments provide significant advantages to meet the company's energy, and will also contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emission.
