Abstract: We see that many marriages were made between Abbasi and Seljuks with political motives. In fact, it is seen that these marriages were about this way, especially during the Great Seljuk State. It can be mentioned that there are many marriages realized with the Seljuk dynasty in line with the consent of the Abbasid caliphs, as well as the marriages made with the aim of benefiting from the religious influence of the Abbasid caliphs of the Seljuk sultans. It is seen that a similar marriage was also observed in the Turkish Seljuk State, as an exceptional situation compared to the Great Seljuk-Abbasid marriages. As a matter of fact, the Seljuk Sultan of Turkey II. We see that the marriage of Kılıç Arslan’s daughter Selçuk Hatun to Artukid Emir Nureddin Muhammed caused a political crisis. Seljuk Hatun, who is very upset about this situation, travels to the holy lands to do her pilgrimage, and her path crosses with the Abbasid Caliph in Baghdad. When the news of her husband Nureddin Muhammed's death was heard, a marriage was made with the Abbasid Caliph an-Nasir li-Dinillah. Sultan of the Seljuk State of Turkey II. We have handled a biographical study of the life of Kılıç Arslan's daughter Selçuk Hatun in this manner.
