SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND VOLUNTEERING

Abstract: People can voluntarily participate in social responsibility activities in many different areas such as supporting disadvantaged groups, protecting animals or nature. With a deep-rooted understanding of volunteerism, which has become a tradition throughout the history of our country, researches are carried out to increase volunteering in accordance with the current structure of civil society. Besides the benefits of volunteering for society, volunteering also has many benefits for society. A study by the Commission of the European Communities has shown that volunteering has a positive impact on the transfer of values of active citizenship, participation in society and democracy, as well as human rights and solidarity. Within the framework of this information, this study reveals the subject of social entrepreneurship and volunteering.
