A REVIEW ON AKHISM WITH ITS ASPECTS OF ENVIRONMENTAL ETHICS AND EDUCATION

Abstract:
Akhism has been emerged in the 13th century arise from the Islamic faith and cultural heritage of Anatolia. Akhies had conducted a considerable training activities on social, cultural and environmental areas as well as commercial activity. The fact that appreciate people and all the creatures is required approaching environment and Nature courteously by akhies. Thus, there must be certain lessons or practices in akhies’ training process. In this article, aspects of Akhism related to environmental ethics and education was investigated. In Akhism there has been a healthy and balanced relationship environing all the areas of life. By means of this, balance that ensure Akhi’s peace of mind and its environment, relationships become better in society. This had been developed on a ground supported by Akhism philosophy and practices. It is clear that the education act main roles on gaining Akhism its capability that achieve sustaining ethic rules on environment for centuries by means of transform to practical from theorical. Difference between capitalistic economical concept with Universe and Akhism is so difference between considering essences in the Nature as commodities and endowed blessings. It is not a utopian approach to propose updating economical concept that has been experienced only 250-300 years ago in Akhism term and a new environmental ethic based on Akhism taught. It is possible both to enhance a new economy that not terminate natural source and to persuade the people abnegation for posterity by the means of reformation because of Akhism has granted these to its followers.
