Relation of Transformational Leadership and Transactional Leadership With Power Distance in the Frame of Implicit Leadership Theory: A Research on Health Care Workers

Abstract:
The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between transformational leadership and transactional leadership of natural culture on the power distance within the framework of implicit theories of leadership. The study group of research have been selected the health workers as Bal?kesir University Hospital, ?zmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital, ?zmir Çi?li State Hospital, ?stanbul Training and Research Hospital, Elaz?? F?rat University Hospital and Elaz?? Baskil Public Health Center. Research findings indicate that power distance is effective to transformational and transactional leadership style. It is determined that power distance has negative relation with transformational leadership and positive relation with transactional leadership.
