Study for Searching Relations with University Students for Their Level of Self-Efficiency in Entrepreneurship and Social Gender Role Relations

Abstract: This study researches university students for their level of self-efficacy in entrepreneurship and social gender role relations . In other words; is there a relation between self-efficacy for enterpreneurship and social expectations for different genders ? Reserach mainly trying to find out how social values understood by the young people in general and how gender roles are defined in private. This study searches for enterpreneurship of university students who will fulfil the main role in the country?s development. ?t is also important to know how young girls define theirselves who will be the educated women of the future. This study uses Jill ve Robert S D'Intino, (2005), ?Measure for Measure, Modeling Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy onto Instrumental Tasks Within the New Venture Creation Process? which was adapted to Turkish by Naktiyok (2009) and ?Development and Psychometric properties gender roles attitude scale? by Zeynelo?lu 2011 . Sample group forms of 250 university students from different universities. Findings evaluated as per gender and whether subjects wants a new venture. When we examine the results, have seen positive effect in ?dealing with the un-expected risk? especially in conventional male subjects in high results in ?new venture creation? scale. As for the social gender roles ; man when compared with women have high scores in sub dimensions in istatistical point avarage. When asked for ?who is the leader of the family? generally ?shared decision making? is the answer. This group also has high scores for sub dimension of ?equality gender role?. As a result it is remarkable to see traditional gender point of view has higher scores for dealing with the unexpected risk compared to the equal gender role point of view. This may make us think that traditional point of view is better in dealing with the risks. Another result is , woman generally wants to generation and egual gender roles attitude together. This shows that women do not want to share the economic responsibility
