Abstract:
This interview with CEPAL Review, in which Professor Revéiz recounts his career, offers insight into why he is regarded as one of the most influential figures in the field of economic and social development in Latin America and the Caribbean, and particularly in Colombia. Awarded the title of Researcher Emeritus by the Administrative Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (Colciencias) in 2016, Professor Revéiz is known for his work on land management, institutional economics and understanding the State in terms of categories such as mesocontracts, the “triple society” and corruption and its impact on public policy.
