Abstract: Diversified cropping rotations mitigate key challenges associated with continuous or mono-cropping, including soil fertility depletion, increased pest pressure, and reduced economic resilience due to limited diversification opportunities. However, an effective rotation sequence depends on a mix of agronomic and economic factors.
