Deficit irrigation, brackish water irrigation, and biochar application are widely regarded as crucial technologies for conserving freshwater resources and protecting ecological environment in arid irrigation regions. However, the effects of existing management strategies on agroecosystem multifunctionality and their trade-offs remain insufficiently explored.
