Abstract:
•Tourism requires context-specific strategies to increase pro-environment behaviour.•We tested if the Foreign Language effect can be such a strategy.•Participants made more environment-friendly decision in their second language.•The Foreign Language effect can thus be a possible strategy in tourism.
