The AUTA/BAA 1971–1996: Living in interesting times
Keith Maunders
The British Accounting Review, 1997, vol. 29, issue 1, 63-79
Abstract:
This paper concludes the story of the Association of University Teachers of Accounting (AUTA) and carries that of the British Accounting Association (BAA) up to 1996. Rather than taking a chronological approach, the events, processes and persons involved are gathered together under the thematic headings of BAA contributions to, and developments in, research/publications, conference activities, teaching, external relations and internal administration, to facilitate a form of strategic interpretation.
