Pediatric hospital screening for suicide risk in adolescents referred for maltreatment

Abstract: Adolescents who have experienced the trauma of physical or sexual abuse are at increased risk for suicidal ideation and attempt, underscoring the importance of effective screening to detect and mitigate risk.
