Abstract:
•We examined the structural relationships among parenting dimensions, media use types, and childhood obesity.•Parental warmth, but not parental control, was associated with the shorter media usage time for entertainment.•Increased media usage time for entertainment, but not for education, was associated with higher BMI of preschoolers.
