Multinational production and choice of technologies: New evidence on skill-biased technological change from China

Abstract: This paper compares the productivity of factors in multinational subsidiaries across parent sources. I find that the productivity of skilled labor is higher in developed-economy subsidiaries than in emerging-economy ones, while the productivity of unskilled labor shows no such difference.
