Abstract:
We explore the relationship between information infrastructure and corporate innovation from 2002 to 2017 in China. We found that the information infrastructure can promote the innovation of enterprises. Mechanism test shows that information infrastructure can promote technic links among enterprises and improve the level of innovation. Heterogeneity test shows that the positive effect of information infrastructure on innovation is more significant in areas where intellectual property rights protection is stronger and in less developed area in China. We find a positive effect of information infrastructure on corporate innovation by the mechanism of technic link.
