Corporate digital transformation and supply chain synergy effects

Huiqing Tian and Tao Shi

Finance Research Letters, 2024, vol. 62, issue PB

Abstract: This paper investigates the impact of individual enterprises' digital transformation on the digital transformation level of upstream and downstream enterprises in the supply chain. The findings indicate that corporate digital transformation significantly enhances the digital transformation level of upstream and downstream enterprises in the supply chain, demonstrating a synergy effect. Further analysis reveals that the supply chain synergy effect of corporate digital transformation is more pronounced in samples with intense industry competition and high supply chain concentration.
