Abstract:
Blockchain (BC) is a sought-after technology, and the investment in it has garnered significant attention. We utilize a wavelet-based quantile-on-quantile approach to investigate the correlation between economic policy uncertainty (EPU) and BC stock market prices across various periods and market circumstances. The findings suggest an increase in EPU has the potential to depress the stock price of the BC company. It is evident from the outcomes across various time scales that EPU exerts a broad inhibitory influence on the stock price of the BC company in the immediate term, with the extent of this effect potentially diminishing as time passes.
