Abstract:
The advent of digital finance introduces innovative approaches and solutions to challenges in agricultural development. Utilizing panel data from 30 Chinese provinces from 2014 to 2021, this study examines the relationship between digital finance, agricultural green total factor productivity, and digital village development. The findings reveal that digital finance positively influences agricultural green total factor productivity, with digital village development serves as a mediator in this relationship. Additionally, the impact of digital finance on agricultural green total factor productivity exhibits regional heterogeneity, being more pronounced in the eastern and central regions.
