Abstract:
In this study, we examined the impact of business environment (BE) on industrial chain resilience (ICR). We analyzed data from 31 provinces in China from 2013 to 2022 and found that a good BE not only enhances ICR significantly but also have a positive effect on ICR of neighboring provinces. This positive effect is realized by improving the level of supply chain finance. Furthermore, we found BE has a significant impact on ICR in eastern regions and those with higher levels of financial development. This study provides fresh insights for improving ICR.
