Abstract:
Utilizing panel data from Chinese listed tourism enterprises between 2012 and 2022, this study empirically examined the relationship between green transformation policies, media governance, and high-quality enterprise development. The findings indicate that both green transformation policies and media governance positively influence high-quality enterprise development. Operating leverage acts as a mediator between green transformation policies and high-quality enterprise development. Moreover, the impact of green transformation policies on the high-quality development of tourism enterprises audited by the Big Four versus those audited by non-Big Four firms exhibits heterogeneity.
