Impact mechanism of digital transformation on supply chain resilience

Abstract: This study explores the impact of digital transformation on supply chain resilience. We also examine the mediating role of supply chain collaboration and the moderating role of social capital. Quantitative data from 212 Chinese companies were collected and multiple regression analyses were used to test our hypotheses. The research results reveal that digital transformation has a significant promotional effect on supply chain resilience. Supply chain collaboration has a significant partial mediating role between digital transformation and supply chain resilience, while social capital has a positive moderating role. The results enrich the relevant research on digital transformation empowering supply chain transformation and upgrading, providing theoretical support and practical reference for advancing enterprises’ digitalization.
