Abstract:
Using data from A-share listed manufacturing companies in China from 2011 to 2022 as the research sample, this study explores the relationship between pollution control intensity and green innovation performance of manufacturing enterprises and discusses its influencing pathways. Findings reveal that pollution control intensity enhances green technological innovation among listed manufacturing companies. Pollution control can effectively promote green finance development in the region, boosting enterprises’ green technological innovation. Furthermore, pollution control significantly influences green innovation among listed manufacturing enterprises in the western region.
