Green supply chain, financing constraints and carbon emission reduction

Na Li and Di Wu

Finance Research Letters, 2025, vol. 80, issue C

Abstract: This study examines the causal link between green supply chains and enterprise carbon emissions using data from A-share listed firms (2006–2022). Findings reveal that green supply chains significantly reduce both carbon emission volume and intensity. Further analysis shows they alleviate financing constraints, enhancing carbon reduction efforts and supporting climate change mitigation.
