Abstract:
Using data from Chinese A-share listed companies between 2011 and 2022, this study examines how digital technology innovation (DTI) influences high-quality corporate development and the underlying mechanisms. Results show that DTI significantly enhances development quality, particularly in state-owned enterprises, mature firms, companies with strong regional digital infrastructure, and those located in eastern China. Entrepreneurship plays a vital role in amplifying this positive effect. This research extends understanding of the micro-level economic impact of DTI and offers strategic insights for firms striving toward high-quality growth.
