Abstract: Financial challenges and the need for high-quality care have vastly increased the number of hospital collaborations in recent decades. The governance of these collaborations remains a challenge. The goal of this study is twofold: (1) to investigate the governance characteristics in an interhospital collaboration and (2) explore the impact on the performance of the interhospital collaboration.
