Abstract:
This paper focuses on the potential role of the new A380 and B787 aircraft in the evolving air transport market. It looks at the way these aircraft can fit into the overall operations of global market. It considers the alternative ways in which these aircraft designed primarily for super-long-range services may be deployed in other ways within a network context.
