Abstract:
This paper examines the changing interests of academics publishing in air transportation. By using the systematic literature review method, the material in the field is field organized, and its chronological evolution examined. Some 1059 papers published between 1997 and 2009 on air transportation are identified across a range of journals. We provide a systemized summary of the current status of this body of work.
