Abstract:
•This paper investigates biases in the Bureau of Transport Statistics Origin-Destination Survey.•Roughly half of routes in the DB1B could not be accounted for.•Our algorithm can be used to identify potentially biased routes.•Further research could focus on the nature of biases in the presented databases.
