Abstract:
A case study explores the application of linear programming (LP) to the medium-term planning of a factory's production. The case appears to be the only non-oil company application of LP for medium-term production planning in the region. Details of the application are presented. Conclusions about implementation and utility of LP models for production planning are reached.
