A rational expectations approach to duplication policy

J Warwick

Omega, 1986, vol. 14, issue 4, 325-331

Abstract: This paper illustrates some of the approaches used by other researchers in giving assistance to librarians in the contentious area of duplication policy. Some deficiencies in these models are highlighted and a model based on rational expectations is outlined which resolves these difficulties and provides a unified and consistent framework from which many aspects of library policy can be examined.
