Abstract:
Two central problems in carrying out futures studies in an organization are the lack of interest among the staff in futures problems and the extension of common ground between past and future beyond a few quantifiable variables. This article presents a method to deal with these problems, based on a major specific case study from municipal government in Västerås, Sweden.
