Computer-aided site layout for construction projects

Abstract: The paper presents two algorithms for computer aided layout of construction projects. One is a modified form of an earlier method suggested by Whitehead for a single storey building and the second uses cluster analysis. The latter results in considerable reduction of computer time. A case study is given and the results are discussed.
