Abstract:
This paper explores the corporate policy environment within which R&D policies are developed before discussing prospective advances in five sectors of R&D management: planning of R&D programs; designing R&D project portfolios; developing R&D staffs; appraising project contributions; and more effectively integrating R&D into corporate operations and planning.
