Omega, 1991, vol. 19, issue 1, 43-51
Abstract:
A diagramming methodology for modeling and integration of mathematical and data models is developed. The entity-relationship model of data is extended to represent the objective function and the constraints of linear mathematical models. The main contribution of this methodology is the integration of representation and documentation of both data and linear mathematical models.
