Abstract:
The potential of specific technology forecasting techniques may be enhanced by recent developments in our understanding of the process and dynamics of technological change and diffusion. This paper explores some of those concepts and integrates them with a prescriptive approach to the development of a methodology for defining and focusing the objectives of a company technology forecast.
