Abstract:
This paper presents a computer-aided risk evaluation system (CARES) for capital investment. The theoretical foundation of the CARES is the Possibilistic Evidence which connects the Possibility Theory and the Theory of Evidence. The fundamental principles of the Possibilistic Evidence and the architecture of the system are discussed. The function of the system is demonstrated using a typical case of capital investment risk analysis.
