Screening of multiattribute alternatives

Abstract: A procedure for screening multiattribute alternatives is proposed. This procedure reduces the detailed data collection needs and the information burden on the decision maker. It is shown that the inferior decision alternatives can be excluded without specifying probabilities, importance weights, and utilities with precision.
