Constellations for manufacturing innovation

Abstract:
It is suggested that the process of technological innovation, specifically manufacturing innovation, should be regarded as a constellation of problem-solution-implementation. In seeking the logical sequence of events, actors and actions can be identified and a common framework for many disparate innovations can be constructed.
