Is it a turning point in the US economy?

Journal of Policy Modeling, 2022, vol. 44, issue 4, 748-757
Abstract:
The pandemic is clearly a historical event that will have a lasting impact on our memories and our societies. This paper, however, is concerned with a narrower question: Will the pandemic turn out to be a turning point in the US economy? I focus not so much on the short term—how quickly we recover, how long the inflation currently being experienced may last or how high it will go—but on what might happen in a decade or so.
