Resources Policy, 2014, vol. 40, issue C, 1-3
Abstract:
This paper introduces a special issue on the extractive industries and development in sub-Saharan Africa. The special issue draws attention to the potential for the region׳s extractive industries to deliver much-needed development and the challenges with making this a reality. It also draws attention to alternative and possibly more suitable extractive industries-based development strategies for the region.
