Abstract:
•The development of dependent capitalism in the V4 countries goes hand in hand with energy dependence.•V 4 countries balanced between dependence on Russia in energy policy and diversify supplies of energy sources.•Energy dependence is manifested by not only for the supply of various fuels but also for a variety of technologies.•The presence of similar mechanisms in the V4 countries does not mean that they have a common raw material policy.
