Abstract:
This study investigates China's transition from resource reliance to trade dynamics, emphasizing sustainable development. Through panel data analysis spanning 1990 to 2020, it explores the nexus between natural resources, trade, and sustainable outcomes. China's economy evolves from resource-based sectors to trade-driven industries, indicating progress in sustainability. Trade significantly drives economic growth, diversification, and environmental balance. The study underscores the need for strategic policies and global partnerships to leverage trade for sustainable development while addressing environmental concerns tied to resource-intensive practices. These insights inform policymakers and stakeholders, aligning trade strategies with sustainable goals, thus fostering a resilient and equitable economy.
