Abstract: This study utilizes the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to examine the complex dynamics involved in the transition from fossil fuels to mineral resources. Examining China as a case study from 2012 to 2020 reveals intricate and evolving transformations. Gaining insight into the underlying factors and obstacles in sustainable resource utilization becomes crucial for comprehending this transition. The findings provide valuable insights and identify critical factors for successful transitions. The study proposes specific objectives to support targeted policy initiatives, with the aim of preserving resources and improving productivity.
